Where is the best, cheapest, cleanest and safest place to stay in Dublin for two weeks?

nothing is cheap over here, if you want to stay in the best hotels, then there are lots to choose from.. 
if you want to stay in the heart of the city you could stay in ... 
the morrison hotel - on the quays 
the arlington hotel- on batchelors walk 
jury's hotel -christchurch and another on parnell street 
and then there are millions more to choose from.. 
I think the arlington or jurys christchuch are maybe the cheaper option

Not sure what you mean by cheap. visit www.discoverireland.ie which is the official site of the Irish tourist board. If you don't find what you want there you can email them for details of accommodation. 

Why not stay in Trinity College, a really old and venerable university in the heart of Dublin City. Rooms are available in the summer at a very reasonable rate.# www.tcd.ie
